Ce dimanche 31 janvier, jour de la distribution du riz avancé à cause du Nouvel an chinois, toute l’équipe était mobilisée au Centre Taramana pour assurer plusieurs tâches diverses. Il a été notamment question de mettre à jour les bilans annuels des enfants parrainés destinés aux parrains/marraines de l’association. L’assistant social, ENG Dararith, en coordination avec l’actuel Directeur du Centre, Thomas Corot, s’est démené pour que toutes les informations et photos soient faites avec l’aide de Mathilde Guillemant. Du côté de l’infirmerie, le Dr Jocelyn Dordé, responsable du programme santé au Centre a secondé l’infirmier DOEU Visal pour mettre à jour les vaccins des enfants contre le tétanos, l’hépatite B et la poliomyélite. A noter que ce programme de vaccination fait partie d’un projet santé financé en grande partie par le Conseil Régional d’Aquitaine.

On January 31st, day of rice distribution, which was moved forward due to Chinese New Year celebrations, the whole Taramana team was mobilized to deal with several tasks. Notably, it was important to update the annual health check-ups for sponsored children at the Association. Eng Dararith, a social worker, in coordination with Thomas Corot, the current Director of the Centre, worked diligently so that all the information and photos were ready with help from Mathilde Guillemant and Aline Barrault, two VSI volunteers who came to Cambodia. On the infirmery side, Dr. Jocelyn Dordé, manager of health programming for the Centre, assisted Doeu Visal, the Centre’s nurse to update all the kids’ vaccinations including tetanus, hepatitis B and poliomyelitis. This vaccination programme is a health project financed in large part by the Aquitaine Regional Council.
