Taramana is about to inaugurale its new centre next Sunday after five years of investment in this project with its closest partners.

They will come in great numbers to celebrate this event eagerly awaited by all the children of Boeng Salang. After the traditional religious ceremony given by the monks, many personalities are expected and will enjoy this occasion to give a speech alongside the President of the Association, Jocelyn DORDE and his entire team.

The French Ambassador, Mr. Jean-Claude POIMBOEUF will attend the event with his wife as well as HE HUN Many, President of UYFC, HE Son Chanda Sophea, General Secretary of CDC and HE HENG Soknang, President of SSEAYP. We hope that Princess Sylvia Sisowath, President of Taramana Cambodia, will be able to join us on this special day. Mrs. Maryse Bigeau, President of the Association STM (Third World Solidarity) will come especially from France to represent her Association which was among the most important contributors to purchase the land and build the centre. 

It will also be a time to thank all Taramana sponsors and donors  (Bouygues SA, Vinci SA, Conseil Régional de la Nouvelle Aquitaine, Agence de l’EAu Adour-Garonne) and the NGOs that support us on a regular basis with their respective activities (Kampuchea Balopp, Phnom Penh Accueil, Cambodia World Family, Krama Yoga,le lycée français René Descartes,…).

Obviously, the children who come to study at the centre everyday won’t miss this festive occasion and will enjoy the show and lunch-buffet offered to all the guests. 

In short, a morning that promises to be filled with emotion for the inauguration of a stunning center built vigorously by Mr. SENG Vannak’s team from the Vannak Sathapanak company. A job well done. Congratulations to Mr. Vannak!
